Interesting new product - Kifaru Cargo Net

Just got an email announcement on a new Kifaru product, a cargo net. https://store.kifaru.net/cargo-net-p222.aspx . I can see a lot of uses for this, at a reasonable price. With the slotted buckles, it looks like it can be used on many platforms as well.

Original Post

A new version of the packboard based on "Yukon" or "Trapper Nelson" packboards used for carrying very heavy loads.  Here's one made in 1944 by the American Seating Company.

WW2 Packboard

Excerpt from a TM showing how to carry some of the loads.

The ALICE Pack also has a cargo shelf for carrying load.

Not exactly the same thing, I know, but it looks like a good way to carry big heavy stuff.  The term is "man-packable".  Think two-legged mule.

Will the net fit other platforms besides Kifaru?

Sincerely,

A LTC to a very pissed of Chief Warrant Officer in 2005 who then ripped his head off and rammed it down his throat sideways.  The LTC then agreed is was a bad day.

It looks like it has the dock and lock system which *should* fit any molle set up.
