Uniforms are ok. Sizing is a little wonky, depending on what supplier in China they came from. Some of my uniform pants are like skinny jeans, some MC Hammer. Our patrol uniforms are 5.11 and we issued the 3-in-1 jacket to new hires. We're pretty liberal after you get off probation, so as long as it looks good, is patched and is the same color, you can pretty much wear whatever manufacturer coat, shirt or pants without getting your balls busted. Some like the Elbecco pants (too thin for me), and some are wearing Flying Cross. It's mostly 5.11 though (we're +/- 100 officers). Coats go from Blauer, Flying Cross, 5.11 etc. We authorize the "Pittsburgh style" leather coat too.
I wear the Tac Lite uniforms, because they're serviceable and cheap. If I tear one or get blood, whatever, it's easy to pitch and replace. Same thing with the Tac Lite version of the original training pants. Good enough for the range, training, etc. and cheap enough not to get attached.
I think their gloves stink (subjective I know). They fit weird. I don't care for their boots either. I don't have any time with the plate carriers or other junk.
Sample of one, but it does the job for me. If I stay in the uniform lane, I don't have any complaints price wise or quality.
