You're guard, are your PBO, S4, and supply sergeants AGR positions? Generally they'll work full time to sustain the unit, if so then getting the ball in motion one weekend is an easy thing to do - it's just getting the buy-in that's hard. If you can convince your CO or XO to make property management a priority then it's an easier fight (and who wants to be signed for broken, useless crap!?).
My supply sgt is AGR, but next to useless. Scratch that, he is useless. I've talked to my CO, XO, and PL about this issue before. AT is coming up so I'll try to get someone motivated again, but this is beyond ridiculous. Almost every joe is qualifying on BUIS, yet no one seems to care about their shitty scores because technically they're still qualified. Not to mention we're transitioning to Strykers and severely understaffed (most fire teams are down to 2).
But still, every M4A1 should have a functioning CCO, it's not asking for a lot.
