My one "negative" observation was that the anodizing or whatever the coloring is on these, is not consistent across all 16. I couldn't give two fucks less as these are for working rifles and the "tan/sand" color happened to be a lucky bonus, but beware if you're a color matching weirdo who would be bent out of shape if yours was too tan or too gold or whatever.

ALG explains that right on their website: Desert Dirt Color.

I had Dave Laubert install an EMR V2 on a BCM upper for me recently.  I'm impressed by the quality you get for such a reasonable price.  Very comfortable hand guard, reasonably lightweight, and the included sling swivel cups save me from having to drop another $20-30 on a sling attachment.  Good customer service, too—I somehow managed to misplace the timing shims when I sent my upper off to Dave, and ALG was kind enough to ship a replacement set directly to him at no cost.

Well no shit, you learn something new every day. I'd never seen that before. We're more than OK with it, I couldn't give two fucks about the color between rifles matching exactly.

I agree, everyone who has handled one is impressed. ALG really nailed it with this one, especially with the value you get. Installation is a breeze too and having done 7-8 of them so far, it's been painless.
