Reply to "American Kami update (NEW 08/22/2019)"

It was 8 years ago when I ordered a Custom Colubris and paid up front.  At year two, I received a "loaner" while waiting for it all while making comments of encouragement in his thread here depicting stacks of new knives being shown off.  At year 3, I made my last inquiry and have never heard from him again. 

I sold the loaner a few months ago and will not buy nor recommend.  I hadn't badmouthed thus far but I'm reconsidering.  Sorry for your luck bro. 

It strikes me as odd that in this age of seemingly instant internet destruction of business and personal reputations;  the simple tenents mentioned above re: customer service Mk1 Mod 0, cannot be applied. 

How does someone come back from  this idiocy?  The days of re-branding and starting over after this kind of mistreatment are gone.  Everyone either knows or will know your name and even if the re-branding takes hold, this kind of behavior will send a successful second chance to the bottom in a hurry once the fraud is exposed.   

Is local walk in business for $300+ cutlery and sporks that robust that custom sales and reputation mean nothing?   This kind of bullshit is second time I've been duped trying to put some jingle in the pocket of a start up Lightfighter.  Shame on me with DJ, but at least I had an item in hand to recoup some loss.  It should be noted that I've had far more successes than failures with dudes on this site though.
