I buy ammo almost exclusively from SGAmmo and Target sports. Generally twice a year. MEN 55gr and GECKO 55gr are my two go to for range fodder and I try to stack them deep. They are both very accurate and shoot very cleanly out of just about every gun I own.
I haven't had a chance to chrono the latest batch of MEN I purchased, but the GECKO stuff averaged 2850 fps with a ES of 20 if I am remembering correctly. (Its written down, but I'm away from home at the moment)
Shockingly, the GECKO had lower ES and SD numbers than the 69 grain Black Hills I also chrono'd that day out of the same 14.5 BCM middie.
Lately, I’ve been enjoying Precision One 62 gr 5.56. It groups well in my guns, is non-magnetic (not M855), and is produced local to me. Roughly the same trajectory as M855 in a 14.5” barrel. I buy the blems at their shop.
