I hate that I shoot so damn well with them too.....but I do.  The PX4CC is really my do all but my Elite fits the bedside and overt carry role, and this just came...

Man, you guys. Been in at least two classes where high pistol shooter hated his gun, and wouldn't stop talking about how much he hated it.

Embrace the dark side! Love your gun hated-but-effective gun!

Not for me, it ain't.

Figure a it's 7.5# DA trigger is roughly equal to my old G22 duty gun with "+" connector. Grip width somewhat similar....shot the glock better.

Shoot my Sams "built" M&P9 better also.

Granted, I'm not shooting the amount I used too..which was never as much as many here.

I gave in a bought the Langdon grips, feels a bit better, I'll try to shoot it this weekend, but...

Sorry, I just don't buy the DA thing. If an M9 wasn't my duty gun, I wouldn't own one.

God damn you Darryl and  Bob.  I thought working on this one would be enough.  At the range again today and shooting it felt a lot better than a Glock.  So I've decided that my 2019 goal will be a Langdon.  The only question is how far to take it.  You bastards!

My new job requires armed travel at a moments notice without a lot of intel and many changes where ending up in a magazine ban city or state is inevitable.  I needed to build a dedicated 10 round travel gun and wanted it capable of sliding a X300 on for hotel rooms at night.  I located a M9A1 Compact frame, a Centurion FS slide, a stainless Compact barrel and sent the whole mess to Ernest Langdon with instructions to do it up just like it was for him.  What arrived today is a masterpiece and fills the role perfectly for traveling with 1 gun and one box of ammo and five ten round magazines.  Have it set up for a fanny pack, AIWB, and a Shark OWB for suit and tie.  Covers all the bases.  I will be breaking it in tonight.

Ernest Langdon has hinted about a new Compact Elite LTT in about 4 months.  Though you probably already know.  M9A1 Compact frame and a short slide with a dovetailed front sight.  Inspired by you of course.

I don't know if I'll be doing any shooting in the Lone Star state this year, but I am trying to plan a drive down to see my kids and drop some stuff off.  Just haven't figured out when yet.

Just slow down and shoot out the window, like everyone else does.

Consider us a 1000-mile long drive-by.

Who is thinking of buying a bunch of Beretta accessories due to things like this thread, and is enough of a hard luck case they deserve a discount?

Cause I am not, and have a (I think totally transferrable) 30% off discount code for the Beretta eStore. Not guns, but everything else they sell.

As a general rule — if you have any reasonable post history, and no legendary collection of HKs, just for a random example — first PM to me gets it.

You fuckers are a bad influence. You're reminding me that end of February when I'm not broke from my last round of toy buying, I *really* need to order an Elite LTT.

I bought a 92A1 at Shoot Straight, NIB, for $499.  I then dropped another $350 with Langdon Tactical. My parts should be here this week.

The Shoot Straight off of 301.....? Because there was a 92A1 I was eyeballing there that has disappeared.

No, Apopka. They may still have them online and they'll ship it to that store.  I was originally going to get one in Casselberry, but I wasn't fast enough on the wallet.

What a coincidence. Here I was thinking another lightfighter goes to the same range as I do.

I bought my CZ-P09 from that store/range.  Unless I get it to Cajun Gunworks when I get back to the states, I’ll likely sell it off.  19+1 capacity is some sorta combat pistol though.

It is better that they do it imperfectly than that you do it perfectly. For it is their war and their country and your time here is limited.

I may be interested if you are in the Tampa/ Central Florida area.

Nope. I'm Orlando area. I do teach at all his gunshows, so I'm in and out of every store every couple of months.

I had to put it  in long-term storage up in MD, before relocating over here.   It’ll be out after I finish a tour in the Bahamas, 2022.  Maybe then.
