Contingency Procurement Group, Inc. Ballistic Helmets

Yeah he seems very shady. I picked up a TC2001 gunfighter cut and that will be what I use. I Haven't figured out what to do with this CPG piece of junk, any ideas? I'm tempted to strip the rails and shroud of it If I can find any use for them and shoot a few pistol rounds at the Shell and see how well that Aramid shell holds up.

I'd be interested to see how it holds up to a few pistol rounds but I'm just being selfish because I didn't purchase the helmet.

On a side note, I had never heard of Hoplite prior to reading about them in this thread and coincidentally I was just followed on Instagram by Hoplite Armor...

bookface, gurgle and other denizens of the retardnet think they know what we want.  They are changing search engine algorithms and linkages to skew search results and steer you to things they think you want.  This is restricting how you get new information.

When violence is the local language, be fluent.

To me, "Offshore" can mean a lot of different places.  Israel.  Korea.  Taiwan.  Japan.  The UK, Ireland,  France, Switzerland, Germany.

The PRC to me screams "Non-compliance, lowest bidder, no QA/QC."

Can the Reds produce quality?  Absolutely.  Are they bound to?  Is it in their interest in terms of return on investment and profit margin?  No freaking way.

Airsoft items are the clearest example of a cheap vismod -- a visual modification of an item you see all the time, configured to look like something else on the first look (i.e., the prop mods on top of a Humvee to make it look like a BRDM;  the applique to make a Sheridan look like a T-55; cinemods to make a Puma look like a Hind).

Life support or personal protective equipment?  Today, unverified or tested?  Not a chance.

Just to add a little to this thread, there is another company that goes by the name of Hard Head Veterans. They have a FAST type helmet for roughly the same price as CPC and Hoplite. The owners answer questions in the same similar manner on another forum I follow. I know they say their shroud and rails are outsourced but I can't remember if the shell is made over seas or not. Just FYI in case anyone comes across them.

I admit I am highly not cool enough to get any of the (apparently) jokes in that video.

It was a contrived re do if Dugan’s old Carnik-Con stuff. That should give you an idea of what they were aiming for, or at least reference.
