This intensive “Operational Environment” level tactical pistol and carbine training course will enhance not only current capabilities but develop additional tactical skills.  Featuring dynamic reality-based live fire drills led by a seasoned veteran instructor with one-on-one assessments and corrective action as needed. Designed to transition the participant from static live fire and basic movement to advanced defensive tactics using the pistol and modern rifle; shooters will be guided through weapons manipulation drills designed to increase comfort level and develop a solid base of skill. We will conduct vehicle glass test shot, vehicle “hard points” test shots, and work in “close environments”;  each participant will leave with the knowledge, skills, and ability to survive and prevail in a deadly force encounters.

This is an “Operational Environment” level tactical pistol and carbine class. The participant needs to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon systems familiarity, and foundational marksmanship skills.

Day 1 Tactical Rifle

· Tactical Rifle and Kit review

· Rifle Manipulation Skills

· Close quarter rifle operations

· Static to Dynamic Position Drills

· Tactical live fire movements

· Bilateral rifle manipulations

· Practical Pistol & Rifle Application Drills

· Practical Vehicle Tactics

· Vehicle Glass Breaking / Ballistic Reaction



Day 2 Tactical Pistol

· Tactical Mindset/Situational Awareness

· Tactical Pistol and Kit review

· Pistol Manipulation Skills

· Marksmanship Fundamentals

· Close quarter pistol operations

· Static to Dynamic Position Drills

· Dynamic One-Handed Manipulations

-Close Quarters Familiarization


Equipment List:

  • Carbine (Mandatory Sling-either single or 2-point)
  • 3 magazines minimum
  • Pistol, 3 mags
  • Tactical Flashlight (rear push button)
  • Magazine Pouches (Belt or Vest Mounted)
  • Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning
  • Knee and elbow pads
  • Hydration system
  • Hat with a brim
  • Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
  • Earmuffs (electronic strongly recommended) and earplugs
  • 10 Pistol & Carbine Dummy rounds

Course Length; 16+ hours

Round Count: 400 rounds carbine, 400 rounds of pistol minimum
