OK, bitches BravoFoxtrot07 hooked me up with photo skilz. This first series is the DG-16 frame and suspension, with a highly modified LBT 2657. With this bag, as well as the FILBE, it only ties in with the top sleeve and two tabs per side. But you might also notice that I cleverly tied in the compression straps in the handy slots provided.
2d pic, notice the shoulder straps are nice and wide with good padding. Note Quick Release buckles. Also hip belt has been shortened to a hip/lumbar pad by removing the end pads and belt. This is my set up as a short back for wear with belt kit.
On the third pic you can see where the compression straps tie in. On the DG-16 ruck, this is where the bag itself ties in, making a more solid connection. Also note top lid. Bottom zip is pass-through for interior mesh pocket; top zip is external pouch.
4th pic note 1" loops for 8" x 14" "basha" pouch. Also loops for 2 x 6" x 14" side pouches (still in work).
And finally 5th pic, shows internal loops for back panel, in my case just a 3L bladder pouch. But this could also be a radio panel, 60mm rounds pouches, etc. You can also see top compression strap, which is important in a wide top-loader like this, to contour the top down a little.
