Emerson Super Karambit

Had an urge for a Karambit.  I will inevitability regret satisfying this urge but until that day I’ll have some fun.  I was (and still am) searching for a no longer made Medford Burung but I found this in the EE on arfcom NIB for half price.

Nice build quality, CPM 154 Steel, chisel grind and blacked out.  The Wave feature is no joke.  You can deploy this knife one handed in a blink.  Hopefully I don’t end up in one of the hundreds of videos on YouTube where Karambit owners compare vicious self inflicted wounds.

Have one inbound.  Best I could do was one for the Combat Karambit which is smaller.

You take blood thinners right? Bad juju right there.

Good on the trainer, watch some videos on karambits too. My knife instruction days date back to when reverse grip was popular. Though there is some overlap a karambit is a whole other beast. Every time I think about dipping my toe in the karambit waters I see another video of karambit twirling gone wrong. Additionally I have two teen boys that keep my disposable income down...

I've been falling so long it's like gravity's gone & I'm just floating...

Nice find brother.

Can I have it?

Well, I’ll be dipped in shit.  They retired the old design and made a new one!  Just went to their website and there she was.  Oh happy days.  Anyone want an Emerson?
