Anyone with experience with the Galco Underwraps 2.0 belly band?  I'd like to have something other than a bag to carry when working out.  My first thought was a Unity Tactical Clutch, but that seems expensive for a niche function if the Galco belly band to good to go.  Thanks and be safe.

I use a belly band fairly often with a J frame in basketball type shorts. I’ve had it for years so not sure if it’s the same one you are looking at but the concept works for certain situations.

I’ve put my P2000 in there and it worked ok. I see it more as something to keep a gun near me (like an ankle holster) rather than a proper holster. Depending on what type of workout your doing a waist bag or similar may be a better idea (what I use when cycling) as the belly band (the one I have) has no retention and can move around a bit during anything more than a light jog without me physically putting a hand on the gun to stabilize it. It’s not ideal but I like it for a quick trip where I’m just picking something up and heading straight home or walking the pup around the neighborhood.

Using the philosophy of buy-once/cry-once, I finally broke down and ordered a Unity Tactical Clutch.  Like you, I look at a belly band (or a waist bag, for that matter) as niche gear rather than my go-to holster.  I decided the Unity would offer more options than a standard belly band.  Thanks for the help.

Looking forward to a full evaluation / AAR in the proper forum after you've had the chance to get it sweaty.
