Glock 19 appendix holster

Been searching around for an appendix holster for my G19 with X300, I’m leaning towards either  Bawidamann or Henry Holsters. Does anyone have any feedback positive or negative on these? Are there any other companies I should throw in the mix?

I carry the same setup appendix and I went with a Trex arms light compatible raptor holster. Opinions of the owner aside, my reasoning was that it appeared to have the smallest footprint for a holster that accepted an x300. The retention isn't great, and definitely no positive click like I get with my Raven concealment phantom light compatible. It will hold the gun and light while upside down without falling out but if you shake it around the gun starts to come lose.

I previously carried my G19 in a Raven Eidolon, and the Raptor holster is about the same footprint but with the x300 sticking out. I can't post pics on here, but I'll email you a pic of the eidolon sitting on top of the Raptor for size comparison if you're interested in seeing it.

I appreciate your offer for the photos but it’s not necessary , I have a raptor for my G21. You are spot on about the retention, even though most or all of the light bearing holsters get there retention off the light the Raptor’s was lacking for sure.

I am looking for an appendix holster for my G30 w/ x300u & rmr and not having much luck. Hope you guys have better luck

I replaced my Raptor with one of these, good retention and fit/finish. Only downside is he makes holsters by the batch so be prepared to wait. If it weren’t for that I would be ordering one for my G19

LeeWall, Why the distaste for the Raven Eidolon?  I have been looking at that one for both my G19 and G43.

I've been carrying 17s and 19s in the Phlster Spotlight and CNC Keroman. I've got both attached to Phlster Flex panels. The Spotlight is overall better, but the Keroman isn't bad.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Gotham holster from Bawidamann and if I didn't have a weird preference for the TLR instead of the X300U, I'd have ordered one by now.

For small footprint you might want to check out the Raven VG3 or Armordillo Concealment XFER. They are similar to each other in that they totally index and provide retention by the light. I carry my G19 with TLR-1HL and TBRC Comp in the XFER. there may be more comfortable AIWB options out there but this is the only one I’ve ever really used.

I've been using the Phlster Spotlight as well. Works well with my Glock 19 that has an RMR and comp, my Glock 19, or my plain Jane 19 w/x300u.

Another option is the Dark Star Rigel, which I had seriously considered because I like their clips.

I started using the XFer at Geronimo's urging in the fall of 2013. As a minimalist holster for AIWB and a WML, (M&P/X300 first, then G19/X300, now back to M&P/X300) I'm real happy with it. Especially for to & from work carry.

However, I've had Bawidamann Gotham for quite a while and I've started using it daily. Re-holstering, especially with a thumb safety (or Gadget equipped) pistol is less complicated. Still trying to decide on hooks or soft loops. Other than that I'm happy with the holster; enough so that I think the XFer will see only very limited use.

The G-Code Incog Shadow with mag caddy is a light bearing IWB suitable for appendix carry.  Works well for me, and customer service is great.

I am glad for you. I got into a fight with G-Code customer service that did not end up well. Final word was I would buy nothing more from them as long as I drew breath and I would never uttter a favorable word about them.  they scewed up an order, lied about it, and when they asked what would mke me happy I told them that I would reorder the item and pay full price, but I wanted them to eat the $9.00 shipping fee.  Crickets. I also assured them I WOUld order an incog IWB from them.  No deal.  They would not even tell me they rejected my offer.  They just went silent, but I have not.

Without knowing anything else, that sounds like a pretty reasonable offer by a customer.

anyone with experience with Ronin concealment the one with a web presence at Gunfighters Inc, I do not believe that is the same group with a presence on Lightfighter?

The gunfighters Inc holsters look pretty good to me but there aren't a lot of reviews floating around for them. Once upon a time I saw a really positive review of their OWB holsters, and that's what started my interest.

While I ran BladeTech holsters for years, and still like them, I am now running a couple of JM Custom Kydex rigs, due to input from folks here.

Over the last 4 months or so, couldn't be happier with them. They are THE answer for AIWB.

Would you mind saying which ones you are using?

Due to this and other threads, I am patiently waiting through the 8-week lead time for a JM AIWB holster for my G30.

I still run my XFER occasionally but mostly use a JM Custom Kydex variant. I really like the JMCK offerings because they just feel right. This week I bought a couple of holsters from Tenicor based off of the latest recommendation from Kyle Defoor. Apparently, he's backing them now, and his gear recommendations are usually pretty legit so I figured I'd give them a shot.

Until I have the Tenicor in hand my vote is for JMCK. I need to sell this huge box of other shit I've tried...

Jeff M is a pretty competent guy. I'm glad to see he is branching out from R/H only OWB Glock products.
