I can't believe it's almost exactly two years to the day that I first mooted the idea of a stripped down RAID pack to be a bigger version of my Cobra 2.6 in Wolf Grey.

Although I now use my old Eagle Industries Alpha/Beta bags for travelling, I would be interested in a bag in Wolf Grey, and possibly a couple of othe colours as well.

Is ATS manufacturing U.S.-based?

It is better that they do it imperfectly than that you do it perfectly. For it is their war and their country and your time here is limited.

Roger. That was all I needed to know. 👍🏽

I re-read most of this thread but am still looking for a little clarification on a few features:

-Aside from the noted, input-fueled changes, will the pack still look like the example on Page 3 of this thread (from your post on 12 December 2017)?

-Waist belt or no?

-Approx. capacity?  It looks like a 30L pack to me, but I could be wrong.

-Has the inside of the pack been tested with most of the available hook-backed aftermarket pouches available (LBX, BFG, et al.)?  Some of the loop/female velcro out there doesn't allow as good a purchase as others.

-Anything on the shoulder straps to facilitate routing of comms or hydration hoses?

-What kind of internal frame or support are we talking about?

Apologies in advance if some of this has been covered already.  It's a long thread and I didn't re-read it word for word.

So this is not being made by ATS?

Could you be more specific with who it is being made by?

Given the very specific clues, I would hazard a guess that the companies favorite color is Blue, they provide items for use of Force, and that the general category of their business is Gear.

But that is just a SWAG.

In other news, I will buy one in Ranger Green as a first choice, but would be happy enough with Wolf Gray if the colors need streamlined to make a minimum order.

If it really was BFG...

Wouldn't that make these direct competitors to BFG's Tracer and Jedburgh packs?

Only if they thought this would be a stocking item.  If they believed this order to be a one time production run, then I’d think they wouldn’t care so much.
