2 questions.

1) I've heard that there are issues with the Magpul bipod pan action not being able to be fully locked out, does anyone know if this is a real issue and is the Magpul bipod  a viable/stable option for long range/precision rifle shooting? My guess is they may not be as good as an Atlas or Accutac, and others.

2) I have not heard or seen any reviews on the Magpul Hunter stocks and am curious if they are a better option in a chassis type stock compared to the Savage Accustock my 110 Tactical now resides in?

The bipod is very viable. It will accept Atlas spike feet without modification. Very light, very affordable.  Not exactly sure what you mean by fully locking out when panning. Mine works fine, as does the swivel action to remove cant.
