SWEET RAT PATROL RIDE. Get some pioneer tools, camo net with poles, jerry cans and some night driving lights and markers and a small utility trailer it would be great. Look in good old shogun news or SAR for weapons mounts I saw a pintle for a 30 cal in one of the SGN. Cool cool
SMILE DAMN IT! I got a rifle and a shotgun and a four wheel drive a countryboy can survive!
Thought I'd add a couple.

That's just so wrong. I love it, but it's still wrong. I mean, insinuating that Dorsai's daughters have so little class that they'd be seen in public with Casey. That's just wrong.

Dorsai,

I'm digging the Samurai. Nice job, bro.
If that thing will fit into the back of a CV/MV-22 Osprey, You'd really be onto something! The Marines and SOCOM are still trying to find vehicles that will fit, since the aircraft is so narrow. Nice job overall, made me wish I had one, which I never thought I'd say about a Samurai.

WM Sends "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions and blood of better men than himself." Taken from John Stuart Mill's 'On Liberty', 1859

You tell me. Will these dimensions fit in an Osprey?

Wheelbase 79.9 in. (2030 mm)
Tread width
Front 51.2 in. (1300 mm)
Rear 51.6 in. (1310 mm)

Sweet ride bro! Brings back memories of tooling around Benning in 87 in one of my buddies Sam's, New Orleans in 89, and Puerto Rico in 90-92! if I could find one of these I wouldhae to do something similar for a range vehicle. Been toying with the concept for a while. Holding out for an old school Land Rover, if I can find one! Seriously cool rig.

+1
Mount the tire on a rack on top and reverse the rear seat for the trunk monkey.
Maybe a big magnet that reads, "STAY BACK 100m OR YOU WILL BE SHOT"

Never thought I would say this, but that Samurai kicks arse!

Yeah you do need the keep back 50 meters sticker too on the back. Extended rear bumper for jerry cans/rucks etc, move the spare to the top ala desert rat style.

Lemme know if you want one of the "stay back" stickers. they've got one that are 18x24 inches now! Or you could go for the subtle regular size bumper sticker

Now thats a sticker I would love to have on my car. :-)

Where can I get some Calico Jack stickers? I was thinking of doing a stencile and paint it but if there are sticker that would be even better.

Here is my third Suzuki, a lott of work left but it will be finished soon, I hope. Havent decided if I should paint it OD or Khaki yet, but after seeing Dorsai´s Suzuki it leans to Khaki.

Diezel,
Welcome!

First, please post an introduction here - Introduction-New Members Post your Intro. We like to know a little about our members.

Second, if you send an email to gmcem50@roadrunner.com, we can help you out on the Calico Jack decal. Cost is $10 per decal (available in black, white and brown), plus the extra shipping to Sweden. I don't know how much that is off hand, but it was $2.35 to England.

Dorsai -

I gotta say that I love that Suzuki. I tooled around Panama in one of the hard-top versions that they sold down there. Fun times.

Came across this idea at my favorite off-road web site after seeing your post;
http://www.rocky-road.com/diesel.html
What an idea; dropping a VW diesel into a Suzuki. I'm trying to convince Household-6 to let me do this.

Take care . . .

Thanks Man! Stickers arrived today. Since you aren't there anymore, where do you want your Megaforce decals sent? Colors?

This is a temporary location for the sticker only. I may make up a little plaque for a backing and zip tie it to the spare tire.

you should some different styles coming soon then.

Once I'm back in Colorado, I'll get you an address. I'm already eyeballing a sweet Landcruiser for the Megaforce decals

I had a friend in AZ who had done a "Dorsai Lite" on his Samurai - plus he swapped the engine. It was khaki and he had painted the interior with that black rubberized stuff ("bed sealer" or something such?) which allowed him to just hose off the blood and gore after been out hunting.

I'm thinking about doing something like that myself, and I had actually talked to Diezel prior to seeing this thread. I hope he'll post some pics of his green Samurai - which was a little more tailored for our climate. Wink
Skullworks,
could you find out exactly what it was your buddy used for that. Im going to do the same thing and it would be nice not to have to Rhino-line the whole interior.

That has got to go in the Explain Megaforce thread in the team room bro. You are megaforce when you buy vehicles specifically for attachment of your megaforce stickers!

Dorsai,
the ride is looking nice bro

I'm speaking for Dorsai (because he is currently out of town on vacation and away from his computer and, well, I can...) because I did the install myself. Big Grin

We used Durabak for the liner in his Samurai. It's really rugged shit; easy to apply and reasonably priced. IIRC, it was about $75 (+/-) for a gallon of black. Colors are a bit more. Do a Google of Durabak and just order it up from their website.

I'm the only one who has bought any so far. I put up the store as an afterthought when I wanted to make the sticker for some buddies.

LOL Sooo true.

Ended up buying a 98 Cherokee but did keep in mind where I'll put my Megaforce sticker!
