A question for the knife Honcho's,,,

I'm looking at getting a Strider BT SS, but stuck on whether I should go 550 cord or G10.

For the Strider owners, if you could do it again would you go 550 cord or G10?

Thanks guys,,,,

Any pics would be great.

Turbo,

I've owned a few Striders, and now I've moved on to Busse Combat, but I'll give you my two cents.

I had the 550 on an MFS, and it was pretty nice, but the G10 on my VB is far nicer. I find the gripping surface to be a lot steadier with the "Simonich Gunner Grips" than the Paracord. Sure, you can retie the cord once you've cut it or it's dirty enough, but the G10 is always good to go, and provides a consistent gripping surface whether new or worn, wet or dry.

Go G10. It's also a lot more unique when compared to the majority of Strider's stuff.

You can go over there and give peace a chance, I'll stay here and cover you in case it doesn't work out.

Thanks for the info Bro,,

Well I always hated the paracord because I'm around blood a lot and it seemed not practical. G10 did it for me as far as keeping my knife clean. Also grip wise I find that I have a better handle on the blade with G10 while wearing a glove as oposed to as with paracord.

I intubate by P.F.M. Got my pack thanks folks...
