I ordered one and got an email stating that these had been recalled. Really don't want to lay out the coin for the S&S  Holster Extender. Is this just a product that might not work in its polymer form?

Can any Safariland Reps chime in here?

Another order canceled here as well. I would skip out on the S&S Holster extender; even moreso if you run QLS plates or like to run a legstrap with your UBL. I paid full price for one and used it for about a week before I sold it.

Kango I couldn’t like your post more.

Yeah Safariland is kind of like Surefire where they keep making stupid shit and ignore what end users want. But then get it correct every once in awhile.

Yep, had one on order as well and just got notice it's a no go.  I've gone so far as to consider molding my own UBL out of some .125" kydex and making a straight cant, but it really should probably be injection molded plastic for duty use.

I think Frank Proctor was offering that.

I actually used the Proctor WOTG shank and loved it. Unfortunately it isn't designed with duty use in mind. Mine came apart in less than 6 months.

Can these be used for a negative cant?

I like mine, but it is on my belt that gets worn only occasionally when Im in class As.  It works well, but I feel like the adjustability is negated by the use of a leg strap like I wear every day in tac gear. I do like that I can set it to a more negative cant though.

Anyone tried this thing? Negative Cant Plate

I want one but the 15 dollar shipping from Canada sucks. I hope they find a US dealer.

It looks like the Blackbox Customs product has to be used with a QLS, which I don't use.
