S&S meets JPC

I modified my old JPC to accept AVS flaps and following that I started making some custom flaps. Here's a 1.0 version of an S&S Precision GRT mated to the JPC. I basically built a sleeve from 330d cordura to slide the base plate into and sewed the attachments like an AVS flap. Works great so far. The next version will be a little bit nicer but overall the same concept.

Original Post

It seems like years since we've had DIY work on display here; another sign of this place's bottoming out.  Thanks for going through the effort to post that up.

It is better that they do it imperfectly than that you do it perfectly. For it is their war and their country and your time here is limited.

I hear ya...I've been so busy the last 2 years I haven't been doing much sewing but I've got some downtime so I want to knock out some projects. This one actually started back in 2015!

The DIY world has really slowed down recently...it's too bad because a lot of guys out there have some great talent...and the market is so over-saturated with nylon gear that there's almost no point in making your own stuff. I really enjoy modifying existing stuff, which is what you see here.

Anyway, I'll try to post some ongoing projects to liven the place up a bit.
