Hardgear,

Id like some pics on how the 6005 is set up on the 1.5 UBL. It looks like you have the shroud and the UBl attached to each other please clarify.

Thanks

Ditto, how does this setup work in vehicles or for that matter how about sitting on my ass? Doesn't look like it would be all that comfortable from the pics.

Replace the hanger strap with the UBL; the holes are the same.

Well let me know if you need a belt tried out Wink
That looks like the cats ass - I like padded belts with MOLLE - but I also like a metal buckle so I can clip myself in off the belt too.

I don' sit much but if I did, I would move the blow out kit to the front/chest. Other than that, sitting is fine.

I'll try and get more pics up tonite.

Do you need to get longer screws to accommodate the UBL, Shroud and holster.

Mikey

I like it a lot. I have a RAV back home and I love it but it's a medium and it's woodland camo of course Cool With my height I should be running a med long. The med is great for jumping through the trees but I wanted a little more covering the guts while I'm walking around this shithole. My SWAT rig back home is a Med Long, Ranger Green Predator. I went with the Predator over here simply because I already had all the order and contact info from a big order I did for our department. That and I got a pretty good deal. I'm still planning on writing up a post for the stud board when I get a chance.

Stephen,

Nice kit and great pics. I'm slowly being tempted by multicam. ACU gives me a fuckin headache and woodland is unfortunately becoming extinct so I may make the switch someday Big Grin

The ATS molle belt looks awesome, it would match my new ATS chest harness nicely. When will it be ready? Thanks!

TREE,
Hey bud quick Q for you. Do you have any issue pulling the secondary from the holster w/BOK over it? I use to run my set up the same (BOK same side as secondary) but it became issue once needed. I hate putting it on the back side now but you know the priorities.

Just thought I'd ask.....

Stephen,
When will those belt/pad become available? When are you going to pass out the T&E ones??? Wink

The last pic doesn't show the final layout. The first pic I posted shows how I'm currently running it and my right arm can hang without interference. Having all that shit around the torso can get in the way and a twist of the body can still cause a little interference. But I've practiced literally thousands of draws from various positions and it's working.

BREATHE..... Keeps you calm under stress....

Raven,
I like your rig. Gives me some ideas for updates on mine since my layout is similar.

I realy like your headset...can I have it? Wink

Rigger's belt and War belt from John Willis (and what an improvement over the shitty one I had before), subloads from BHI, GPS/admin/mag pouches from TT, leatherman/light/6x pouches from SpecOps, IFAK from CIF, and suspenders from SpecOps.

"Rule #1: Use your good judgment in all situations. There will be no additional rules." - Nordstrom's Employee Handbook

Heres my rig that I am running in the 'Stan right now. It consists of the following:

SDS Improved RACK. Good bit of kit, IMO, but I FUCKING hate the side zip shit...yes, I was warned of this flaw prior to purchase, but I said "fuck it." I keep forgtting to order the "repair" fastex buckles to use on there, but I dont think they would work anyway, given the female end isnt notched the same as the male end...

I run an ATS CLAP on the bib, a Harsey/lovewolf folder in the bib map pocket, and 2 issued (SDS or AITES?) 3 mag shingles on the main section.

Over the shingles, I run an EGL triple rifle mag/2 pistolmag/drop puch combo...I cant remember the fucking name of it...Monkey Stomper, maybe? Anyway, this gives me 9+1 rifle mags, and while I dont *usually* carry a pistol, it gives me mag slots for when I do.

on my strong side I have a Strider knife that was passed to me by DZhitshard. This is the knif he carried in Iraq...it even still has the faggoty turqouise blue zip ties on it Smile I also have an SDU Strobe light in a TT strobe pouch behind that.

On my support side I run an ASP in a TAG pouch, and the issued IFAK.

Nothing too high speed or special, but it works, and works well..any suggestions/input wuold be appreciated.

Not pictured is a TT 40mm bandolier and my Eagle RAID.

Hey KevinB,
I see you're running a Tactical Tailor padded belt with a subload. Have you had any trouble with it trying to sag on you? I tried the same setup, but the dropleg kept pulling on my belt and the belt wouldn't stay cinched. So my belt would loosen and pull down on the side of my holster making me look like some sort of wanna be cowboy action shooter.
