Dave,

Your best bet would probably be to PM Juha (Jma78). If he does not have it himself, he would be the best placed to steer you in the right direction.

Good luck,

Ken
They are, but once again its the country and post cost. Dont have an issue with buying them, it the retarded auto post cost set up these places have. Ive bought heaps of gear off ebay and the most I ever paid for post was $80USD for a complete FILBE to NZ, so $96USD for something that would fit in a flat rate and cost envelope for $16-20 is the issue.

Need a handful of the studs for this sort of Lift The Dot fastener:

http://snaps.dotfasteners.com/...tuds/90-bs-16349-1b?

Anyone got a couple of those around, or knows someone that sells them in less than qty-100?

Hi,

I'm in need of about 4 or 5 yds of 500/1000D (doesn't matter) Kryptek Typhon cordura, it's out of stock on their website ><img src=" class="smiley" src="http://diytactical.com/forums/Smileys/smilies_smf/angry.gif" title="Angry" />And around 10 to 15 yds of 1" 55301 webbing in the same pattern.

If someone has some and want to help, I would greatly appreciate !

Thanks in advance guys!
Remi

ps: on a side note, does any of you will make an order at texcel for typhon? If so would you accept I add a roll of 1" to it? Just can't afford the 300yds minimum :/

Not small quantities, but Trelleborg is the source.

Okay, as much as I like my current sling (Tac-Strap), the quick adjustment SUCKS.  I'd like to pull it and sew in the same style that is used on the VCAS, but can't find a name or reference for what is used.  I'm loking for the metal style, that appears to be spring-loaded, so you pull the tab and move it whichever direction you like.  Any sources or ideas on what it's called?

Thanks!  I didn't know what to search for, so I poked around there for awhile and came here to ask.

Does anyone know where I can find a couple of square feet of genuine Multicam material?

I want to use it to cover a couple of Safariland holsters, and a couple of kydex knife sheaths.

Also, some advice on what adhesive to use, and how to keep the edges from fraying, would be appreciated.

Regards.

I used 3M spray adhesive on my sheaths and holsters.  Nice light coat over the complete surface and it doesn't bleed through the material.  For frayed edges, I trimmed with a small razor blade and even burned a few off with a lighter.

Which one? Me, I am an adhesive and tool nerd, so have five 3M spray adhesives alone, a couple by Camie (for fabrics and foams), etc.

I am sure Super 77 will work, but did you find one that worked especially well?

Well, see, now you've gone and complicated things.  I really don't know.  It was from an architect's office for diaramas and such.

Probably Super 77 or similar. It's probably overkill, but that's still good information to have. It means the holster plastic can take the solvents, and the mechanism doesn't mind the overspray, etc.

Yes, aggressive spray adhesives totally destroy some substrates. Done it.

After 1/8th (3mm) Coyote shock cord. Got my last lot from Supply Capt but their site doesn't give a colour option on that size, so Ive assumed they are out of stock in 1/8. Tried eBay but haven't found coyote, cheers

Looking for a source for ripstop nylon tent material, with colors on two sides.

I would prefer tan/white but a camouflage pattern on one side would be fine.

I am going to make a tent based on the Two-Man Mountain Tent with a couple of modifications.

Gerald Schwartz is offering webbing in Wolf, pretty close to the Arc'teryx shade.

Thanks for the link, but the velcro in question is different from the regular one. In fact the one piece has hook on one side, loop on the other, but it is a lot smoother than regular velcro.

So back to square one...

We've worked on a few Mayflower vests and I think what your looking for is Velcro brand ONEWRAP.  Same stuff they make their cable ties (like in hardware stores) out of its just wider.  You should be able to find some with a internet search.

Where can you get ITW Nexus 1" Side-Release Surface Mounts anymore? Tried my usual suspects and unless I am looking the wrong place, cannot find them.

Literally short ONE for the current project. Silly me not counting before I start cutting and sewing.

(It's personal, so no one has to take pity as no customer will be mad if I mod the specs or delay it forever while I search).

No, these:

Which answers my question. So that'll do. Hope "tan" is the CB complementary color I already have.
